Infiltration of Helena
Clint and his team had just arrived in their stolen and damaged Armored Car. As it was of LE design, they were able to get through with little problems. As the four soldiers equipped their respective armors, they took to hiding out and waiting until night. As nightfall approached, the four reviewed over their mission objectives. As obscure as it was, they knew better than to trust a mercenary force. What could be their allies one day, could become their enemies the next. "Sir, we're ready to go when you are," Leola says, as Jimmy and Dakota secured their helmets.

"Good, synch your clocks and don't get lost. We're not in friendly territory, and if we get caught by anyone, we need to take it out quick and clean," Clint orders, as the others salute, nodding. Departing from their vehicle, the four moved quickly through the alley to their target building, approaching a set of side doors, blocked off from the rest. Taking positions, Leona pulled out a dagger and quickly cut through the chain and broke the lock. Entering inside, all four moved in silently as they kept an eye out for any cameras, silently taking them out before alerts could ring out. Approaching the main security, a lone guard sat there as he looked at a magazine, bored with the night shift. Signaling silently, Clint moved quietly as possible and with little difficulty knocked the guard unconscious. As all four moved in, they typed quickly and were able to knock out the security of the area. "Ok, we're clear for now...we need to move....here," Clint says, pointing to an area on a digital screen of the facility. "Whatever's back here, that's our objective."

Moving on up ahead, they had relative ease as they approached their destination. "Ok...arm your weapons. Jimmy, Dakota, hang behind us. Leola, ready?"

"Ready sir, just give the word," she said, as she gripped her over-sized sword. Giving a countdown, the two took the lead and kicked the door, breaking its lock as it swung violently open. Pouring in, they quickly stopped at the sight of an R&D development lab, and in the center was a Gundam in red with various appendages and wires stemming from its back.

"Intruders! Protect the Nemesis!" "You idiot!" one of them yells, as a beam pistol was drawn and fired at the first person, vaporizing his head into a red mist.

"Record quickly!" Clint orders as their cameras began recording the armor, while Jimmy stepped forward and fired his Impulse Cannon at the Nemesis in development. As the beam streaked forward, one of the Knights activated his armor and took the full brunt of the beam, tossed backwards like a rag doll as his armor was completely charred and ruined. All four quickly fell back as they fired back into the room before sprinting.

"Attention, deploy all Gundams, infiltrators detected!"

Up ahead the first Gundam appreared, the Virtue. A large bulky Gundam, it carried with it a large cannon. "Oh shit, MOVE!" Clint orders, as they ran forward towards the Gundam with no other path to take. Dakota quickly leveled its electromagnetic cannon and fired a single shot at the head of the Gundam. While it bounced off, it hit with immense force that it temporarily stunned the Gundam. Giving Clint enough time, he ran forward as he dove at the Gundam. Recovering, Virtue activated its GN Field, catching Clint at the torso. Stuck in position, the human inside the Virtue began laughing, before Clint smirked in his armor. "Hey idiot, think again," Clint says, as his railguns fired at point blank from the IWSP into the Virtue repeatedly. Forced to shut off the GN Field, the others in the squad had already moved into position, as Jimmy fired his Impulse Cannon into the arm of the Gundam. Tearing apart the armor and damaging the servos to keep the gun up, the team of four quickly ran. Retracing their steps, they cleared the way and reached outside. "Move move move!" Clint orders, as they boarded back up.

Quickly getting their armor off, they moved the car out and drove off, moving at a calm rate. Outside Gundams were scrambled left and right. "What...did we find in there?"

Investigation Report
Sirens could be heard throughout Washington D.C. as Police Cars ran through the capital of the United States. Traveling through the roads and highways, Lucas Klein was cursing to himself in his Patrol Car. "Damnit, I'm late!" As he streaked along, another Power Armor was running through the alleyways of the city, with a much similar reaction.

"All officers, shots are fired in the East Warehouse District. I repeat, shots fired."

Both officers cursed to themselves as they raced to reach the scene, their original destination. Of the two, Lucas arrived first. Stepping out quickly, his armor quickly activated as he saw several police cruisers aflame. Running over, he checked their bodies to see if there were any life signs. Shaking his head, his sensors alerted him to another Power Armor approaching. Pulling out his rifle, he relaxed as the data came in revealing it was Grant Krauser with the Bertigo. "What's the situation detective?" Krauser asks, looking around as he surveyed the scene.

"Total loss here, but they're fresh, we need to move in," Lucas says, looking over to the warehouse in front of them. In the distance, sirens could be heard approaching. "They won't make it in time, we need to move in quickly. We could find something out," Lucas advises.

"Right, let's go!" Grant says, as the two charge into the warehouse. Walking in, the Bertigo and HEXA both moved to cover. Checking their immediate surroundings, the two slowly advanced further in. Checking each room as they advanced, there was little evidence that they could find, though it was evident Power Armors were clearly here. "How could rogues get so far deep into our capital? This is the Capital of the United States for god's sake!" Lucas says, as Krauser moves past him, rifle drawn.

"I don't know, but- hey wait, there's still a terminal active here," Grant says, as the two move up to the active computer. "Cover me," Krauser orders, as Lucas nods and has his rifle drawn, keeping an eye out on his surroundings. As Grant started typing, several small audible gusts of wind could be heard. Something's here...

As the info started to load, an image came up with the logo of Tesla Industries showing up on the terminal. "What...but they're the lead designers of the current power armors..." Krauser mutters, as a lance of light streaked out and struck the screen, causing it to explode. HEXA quickly reacted and fired his rifle at the source, a floating bit. As it exploded, he quickly rewound to recognize the remote weapon. There was only one weapon he knew of with that design. Quickly turning, he pointed the rifle at the Bertigo. "You...why did you just destroy the computer!"

"What?! All my weapons are still here!" Grant yells out, as all his bits released quickly as proof.

"Wait, then...what the hell did I destroy?" Lucas asks, before a ring of explosions occurred above their heads, as the ceiling comes crashing down on their heads and burying the two.

.............

"Think we got em?" "Doubt it...get the traps ready, more company will be here."

To be continued in Part 3...

Prelude
Delivering his report, the data in the disc determined one thing. The Barcalow Knights were planning a major operation in the Mideast Territory. For Wild, it had been a year since going to that area. Shaking his head, Wild wandered into the medical wing of the base, where he saw the various states of several of the men and women injured by the USMP and Barcalow Knights. Glancing away from the rooms, Wild noticed one person move out of his room. Hearing the nurses trying to warn him were clearly not reaching him. He shrugged to himself and walked over to the man in the crutches. "Seems they got you pretty rough out there," Wild says, looking him over and noting the missing leg, as well as the already attached prosthetic arm.

"The name's Wild by the way."

Close Call
Groaning, Wild slowly opened his eyes as sunlight shone in from the window. Looking around, Wild started to sit up before a surge of pain erupted from his side. Looking down he could see parts of his arms and body were covered up in bandages. "I see you're awake," a voice could be heard from the bathroom. Emerging from there stood Angel, drying off her hands. "You were out for twelve hours you know..." Angel says, lowering her voice a little.

"Angel...thank you..." Wild says, before struggling to move out of the bed. Another surge of pain emerged on his face as Angel moved quickly over and pushed him back into bed. "You need to rest, I found you pretty badly beaten...why did you even go back out there?" Angel says, looking over at him more worried than angry.

Somewhat surprised at her concern, Wild didn't bother struggling as he complied to her actions. "Angel...I need to ask. It was you last night, but...why was your synch at 63%?" Wild asks, as it was now Angel's turn to look in shock. Speechless, Angel couldn't come up with a response at that. "I....I don't know...I saw you injured and everything became a blur," Angel responds, sitting down next to her injured companion. "I wonder what happened to Jim anyway. I did leave him behind after all," Angel says, a small laugh coming from her.

"Oh...sorry about that."

"It's fine, he was nice but...there wasn't anything there," Angel responds, looking over to Wild as she smiled at him. Leaning over, Angel quickly kissed his cheek and smiled at Wild, who blinked in utter confusion at the act. "You should get some rest, don't push yourself too hard." With that, Wild closed his eyes and passed out from his injuries.

Close Call
The pair had returned less than a week ago and Wild made his presence quite known. Returning back from downing the Night Raven, Wild stumbled into the room with his power armor retracted, as Angel stood wide-eyed in disbelief. "What the hell? You're all over the news. I thought you said keeping a low profile was key?!" Angel yells out, making sure the door was completely closed for their hotel room.

"Sorry, had to take a risk," Wild says, smirking before groaning in pain and falling to his knees. "Mind...helping me out here? Kinda fell with an elevator."

"Not this time around. You shouldn't be taking such risks. Besides...I have a date tonight," Angel says, as she finished straightening out her dress.

"Wait, what?! Fine whatever, see if I care. Besides, you might as well get used to doing that again, since you're almost done," Wild retorts back, adjusting himself and moving along to the edge of the bed to lean against it.

Not expecting that response, Angel rubbed her forehead in annoyance, she just stared daggers at him. "So what, you're just counting down the days to get rid of me?"

"That how you wanna see it? Sure why not."

"Idiot!" Angel yells out, giving Wild a swift kick to his leg. Groaning in pain, Wild held it as she stormed out. Getting a moment's peace, Wild sighed, surprised she went out. Looking down at his leg, he uttered a few curses at the sight of the wounds reopening again.

Two hours later...
"So Emily...what do you do?" the man sitting across from Angel asks, as they wait for their food.

"Well, I'm actually freelance right now, Jim. Me and my partner travel around the country doing various jobs. I do more of the teaching kind when needed, he tends to help out on the...volunteer work," Angel says, smiling back at her date.

"Your partner? Are you two together or something? And what kind of volunteer work?"

"Oh no...he's just someone involved with work, he tends to do more so firefighting, police work, that sort of thing," Angel responds back, before a small beeping could be heard from her purse. "I'm sorry, excuse me."

"What is it W-" "Angel, are you nearby?!"

"What's wrong? I'm kinda busy..." Angel says, recognizing the anxious tone but downplaying it for appearances.

"I went out again..."

"What?! In your condition, your equipment needed a few more days," Angel continues, choosing her words selectively.

"Yeah...that's not the only thing...body's...really messed up...don't think I'll make it back..." Wild says, as the line was lost. Standing up quickly, Angel apologized to Jim, explaining her partner was in trouble and needed a ride back. Leaving, Angel quickly moved before Jim could chase her down. Heading down a deserted alleyway, Angel activated her armor and put up Wild's beacon. Moving up to the rooftops, Angel activated her Jammers as she moved, helicopters flying by unable to pick her up. Approaching her location, she could see Crossbone lying on the ground, blood all over the place. Several USMP armors stood above him, their armor broken. "You bastard, trying to take us on again? You're a goddamn fool. Now you'll pay for your stunt little rogue," the leader taunted over Wild, as he groaned in pain at the four. His eyes could barely focus, with more pieces of his armor broken off.

Angel looked down and saw how powerless he looked. The point of near death. A part of her simply wanted to leave and yet, she knew deep down she couldn't, she wouldn't. Descending down behind them, they turned to look and saw nothing. Looking back down at their prey, in an instant the leader of the squad suddenly felt a beam cut into his back. Turning, they all looked in shock at a Gundam wielding a beam scythe. Angel quickly moved and smashed in the next armor's face with the other end of the scythe. Her anger was immeasurable, as she bashed the next with a shield into the wall and as the fourth tried to run, the shield launched out and opened up to reveal a beam blade hidden away, stabbing into the back of the fourth. "Wild, Wild! We have to go, now!" Angel yells out at him, and retrieves back her weapon. The last thing Wild saw on his visor before passing out was a Synch rate of 63%.

Windy Skies
Above the shore of Michigan Lake, Deckard Grimm in the 00 Gundam flew across the sky. Scanning with his sensors for any contacts, a beam lanced out from below the water's surface. Barely missing the Gundam, Deckard looked down below to see a similarly designed Gundam appear, however with only one sword and a singular GN Drive. "Hmm...looks like I found a Knight," Deckard says to himself as he dove down at the armor.

Firing streams of beams at one another, both armors gracefully avoided the shots before clashing in melee. With the GN Swords II, 00 clashed against Exia's GN Beam Sabers, as they clashed against one another. Backing off against one another, Exia quickly threw its sabers at 00. Shooting them out of the sky quickly, the explosions allowed Exia to charge in with its GN Sword extended out fully. 00 quickly deflected the Sword with its own Sword II, while the other weapon cut into the side of Exia. Grunting, and before passing out as the pilot coughed up blood, Exia slipped out a GN Beam Dagger and stabbed the arm of 00.

Double Trouble
Along I-495 west of Philadelphia, Altecha Chan's team of Jegans, the Steel Tornado, reported in at a nearby observation post in the woods and mountains. Relieving the team there for the next few hours, Chan commanded his team to move out along the once busy highway. Elsewhere in the nearby woods, Trent Grant and his team of bodyguards were traveling through the woods, moving themselves into position. Both teams were unaware of the trouble that would bring them together.

In the woods, three sets of eyes flashed green and nodded to one another, before taking off silently into the forest.

"We got an anomaly up ahe- wait, it's gone?" one of the pilots in Chan's squad says over the radio.

"Eyes up everyone, something's wrong..." Chan utters as they spread out, shields up. After a few moments, a spear launched out of nowhere and pierced one of their legs. Firing their rifles where the spear came from, the shots hit nothing but air. "We got a stealther! Vulcans up!" Chan orders, as all four began sweeping the area with their vulcans. The Ranger Power Armor was forced to de-cloak, revealing a nearly all black armor with a combined shield/rifle on its right arm, as it stood on the road.

Elsewhere, the GM Sniper IIIs were running through the woods, as a pair of beams lanced through the woods and cut down some trees. "Damnit, where'd they come from?" Trent yells as they run for the highway.

"No clue, the radar was jammed. They came out of nowhere!" Xiu-Li yells out, her shoulder bleeding with a missing chunk of armor.

As both teams retreated back, both collided into one another on the road. The Jegan squad had several chunks of armor gone along with their shields, as the Blitz stood missing knee and chest armor, bleeding out. A small price to pay with Phase-Shift. Behind the Blitz, Dynames landed as did another armor in white and blue. "Wait...isn't that, what the hell?" Trent utters as the third armor drew a large sword, and activated a multitude of beam sabers on the edge.

"Fall back, go go go!" Chan orders as they start firing at the enemy armors. The Mega Beam rifles of the Sniper teams managed to glance the third armor, completely melting off half of its lighter armor. As the pilot screamed in agony, it ran off away from the fight. Arriving back at the outpost, a relief team stood of GMs as they fired beam launchers at the two. Unable to continue pursuit, the two Rangers began to pull back.

"We need medical attention, asap!" both Chan and Trent ordered as their teams collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily from the close engagement. "That...that third armor..wasn't that one injured in Philadelphia a day or two ago?"
